The recent thread by sh3dv1l, asking if people keep getting the same messages from the same people repeatedly got me thinking. Clearly one would expect the single women to get the most messages, followed by couples. But I'd also be interested to hear from other single men the number they receive. If you are anything like me, you will receive about 0.0001 messages on average per day.

we receive on average 5 messages a day, we do try and answer them all.

Btween 5-10 from new _ontacts, between 20-30 from 'regulars!' plus numerous to n from messages, most in one day when I once logged in after 24 hours was 57.x

Guess on average, 1 or 2. Some are replies to messages i sent out, saying yes no or maybe lol. Most seem to be from other guys, again some locally i _ontacted to scope out the scene. A worrying amount from gay guys asking if i want it lol

I probably get between 3 and 5, but they are all replies from messages I've sent out!

it varied for me...sometimes 5 a day or sometimes between 10 and 15...all depends on whos in need eh??lol

Usually around 50 to 70 depending on how long i spend on here in a day.... the longer im about the more messaes i tend to get

I too can understand some becoming pissed off with the sheer volme of messages but i do find it rather ironic most encourage them only to lateer whinge... How many post, "I ave ne pics.... comments please" oly to later say "too many message only answering genuine ones" or such like.

I hardly get any messages at all. I've sent out quite a few to people, often to tell someone that I particularly like their pictures or something, but I've found very few of them have actually replied. I'm always polite and courteous in my writing, so I don't know why I get such a poor reponse, and I always try to reply as promptly as I can to any messages I receive.

I receive an embarrassingly large amount daily. Sad to say that I don't ever go looking for guys to message cause I just don't have the time once the messages have been gone through.

We get about 5-10 a day but on Friday & Saturday that can double, weekends def seem the time when there are more people about.

We get between 10 & 20 a day,and answer all of them, even if it's only to say thanks, but never answer those that say no more than 'I would love to F**k you'...

I usually have one or two messages waiting for me, some from people who've looked for me (so they do exist!) but mostly replies to messages I've sent.

We seem to get more crud messages from the male half of the couples than the single guys, they think its fine to say rude things because they have a partner but we delete these without answers as they don't credit one.

to answer the original question - around 330 per week - less if I don't post any pics/ come on-line, lots more if I'm "active"
