@private mail,
+add as contact Last weekend I was up in Norfolk, and on one dog walk (well, this is a dogging website ;-) I passed Holkham Nudist Beach.
Now the rules are that nudism is not allowed in the dunes, only on the beach.
So as I walk along the beach, what do I see?
A small number of windbreaks with feet sticking out being the only visible parts, there often being two sets of feet. Healthy enough one thinks.
However, lookup to the dunes and it is a different story.
A significant number of fellas, all middle aged, none of them in good shape, (and OK, that makes them like me), all standing, most with their hands behind their backs, clearly enjoying being on show.
Some of these fellas stand deliberatley at the edge of the nudist areas, where the access paths run, the paths used by clothed people, including families who, being on holiday, have no idea what is going on so walk almost literally right into people (hence the ban on nudism in the dunes I believe).
Now perhaps these standing guys are sunbathing, trying to ensure their bald patches were well tanned, but I would have thought that sunbathing would be more comfortable laying down. So I conclude that we are talking about people who want to be on show, which is cool I guess, I don't understand the need but I recognise it is their bag.
Doesn't make Holkham an attractive prospect though... |
