First Meet FAILED

Well hubby & I arranged our first meet with another couple????, time and place arranged, which was very disappointing.

Disappointing because only the male turned up, this was very suspicous, He ( you know who you are ) told us his wife had a cold and could not make the meet but wanted him to enjoy his self, We wonder if this is the normal excuse,has it happend to you?.

Anyway, nothing was going to happen under this type of mess up,a failed mission.We left and was rather put off for the future..

Sounds like a faker, but you never know, he could have been telling the truth. But I think you were right to pull out(poor choice of words I know), as he could have phoned before hand to see if the meet would still be on if it were just him.

Don't give up, there are some great people on here

Sounds like it could have been a fake, it has happened before so it seems.

I don't know what checks you did before you did meet, but maybe more are needed, cam them /phone them and make sure they are a couple before any arranging is done etc. If you had done these things then maybe his wife was ill.

we had our first " first " meet last week which has it happened turned out to be great night good company few drinks that was all but that was all we had planned, we cammed and phoned before we even started to arrange anything so as we were sure of who was there and that they both agreed
